DETAILED ELGIBILITY:EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Matriculation or equivalent with a diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates would have to undergo three phases for the post of Sub-Inspector (Overseer), given below:

PHASE-1	Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST)
PHASE-2	Written Examination (200 Marks), Merit list
PHASE-3	Documents verification, Medical examination

SALARY: The pay for the level-6 post of Sub-Inspector is Rs.35400-112400

Other Allowances: Post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Special
Compensatory Allowance (while posted in specified border areas), free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, free medical facilities and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions.

AGE LIMIT: The age limit for the post of Sub-Inspector is between 20 to 25 years.
