NOTICE REGARDING HOLDING OF EXAMINATION OF B.Ed 2nd SEMESTER REGULAR/PRIVATE/D.D.E STUDENTS, UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU

SUBJECT :- HOLDING OF EXAMINATION OF B.Ed 2nd SEMESTER REGULAR/PRIVATE/D.D.E  STUDENTS

 

It is hereby notified for the information of all the concerned that the B.Ed 2nd semester examination of the Regular/Private/D.D.E students shall not be held in the offline mode and in place the following mechanism has been adopted.

 

1.  All the students shall complete their internal assessment component of 40 marks (attendanceTl,T2, sessional work etc.) & deposit the record with the Principal of

 

the respective colleges.

 

2.   The remaining 60 marks (theory examination) is to be divided into two components.

(a) 40 marks for written term paper for which one month time will be allotted to the students from the date of issuance of this notification. Term paper will be a comprehensive write up of minimum 1500 words on a theme/topic of the course/paper. The term paper will be issued from the PG Deptt. of Education, University of Jammu to the respective Principals who will further disseminate it among the students. The concerned Principal of the college will create a dedicated mail box for receiving response sheets of the students. The Principal will preferably take a print out of the response sheet and submit the same in the Examination Wing, University of Jammu which will be evaluated through the panel of Evaluators duly approved by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor.


 

(b)20 marks oral/viva voice examination will be conducted for the respective papers in the month of Dec/2020 either through online/offline mode. The Principal of the college shall arrange the conduct of viva voce by the external examiners.

3.   In case of D.D.E students the B.Ed Co-ordinatior shall perform the role of the Principal.

4.   The private students shall be allocated in the college from which they have completed their B.Ed course.
