NOTIFICATION FOR B.ED ADMISSION : 2019-21

Notification for counselling cum admission for candidates who are residents of areas lying within the territorial jurisdiction of University of Jammu, Jammu.

First round of COUNSELLING for admission shall be held from 17/09/2019 to 21/09/2019 in the Committee Room of the Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu from 9.30 AM to 11.00 AM

a)      All the candidates shall bring crossed demand draft of any bank of Rs.32380/- drawn in favour of Director, Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu, Jammu payable at Jammu along with all requisite documents in original and printout of online filled in Admission form at the time of counseling, failing which their counselling shall not be conducted.

b)      List of the documents required at the time of counselling cum admission (original as well as three photocopies of each document).

1.      10th Diploma.

2.      B.A/B.Sc/B.Com Part Ist, IInd and IIIrd marks card/Semseter I-VI

3.      B.A/B.Sc/B.Com degree.

4.      M.A/M.Sc./M.Com Mark sheet

5.      M.A/M.Sc./M.Com Degree

6.      Service certificate duly countersigned by the competent authority.

7.      Fresh School Recognition Order.

8.      Provisional certificate or degree of last qualifying examination.

9.      D.Ed/D.El.Ed Diploma

10.    Letter of deputation from school education department.

d)     The merit of candidates is subject to authentication of the original documents at the time of counselling. School recognition certificate and service certificate shall be subjected to further scrutiny during the counselling. Admission shall be made subject to authentication of the above mentioned documents and other requisite documents.

e)      If any candidate remains absent for counselling on his/her turn as per the merit, he/she will be considered for admission on the subsequent day/days of counselling subject to the availability of seats.

f)       Invitation to counselling shall not guarantee the right to admission.

g)    Admission is subject to availability of seats.

Note: For registration of counselling-cum on the spot Admission please report for Registration between 9.30 AM to 11.00 AM.
