1. Whereas the JKSSB conducted OMR Based Written Test on 21 April, 2018 for the
posts of Science & Maths Teacher (School Education Department),
Advertised Vide Notification No 06/2017(Various District Cadre).
2. Whereas the appearance of the candidates in the OMR Based Written Test was
purely provisional as the document verification was still pending; and
3. Whereas the candidates figuring in Annexure “A” to this notice have been
provisionally shortlisted for counselling cum document verification purely on the
basis of the academic merit (as per notified criteria) together with the merit of the
candidates acquired in the written test. It may be noted that the candidates figuring
in document verification are in excess of the actual number of posts and as such no
candidate figuring in the enclosed annexure would have any claim to his/her
inclusion in the final selection list simply on the ground of figuring in the provisional
shortlist; and
4. Whereas the candidates figuring in this provisional list are required to appear for
counselling and document verification as per the dates and venue shown against
each at Central Office, J&K Services Selection Board, Zum Zum Buidling,
Rambagh Srinagar at 10.30 am and Camp Office, J&K Services Selection
Board, Panama Chowk, Jammu at 08.30 am.
5. Whereas the said candidates are required to appear before the Counselling Cum
Document Verification Committee with the following documents; and
x Copy of Online Application form.
x D.O.B Certificate.
x Reservation category certificate, if applicable.
x Permanent Resident certificate.
x Discharge certificate in case of Ex-serviceman category.
x Other documents as per the advertisement.
Whereas the candidates are required to produce Online Application Form as well
as original documents together with a self-attested photocopy of each
document certificates/bonafide on the day of counselling and document
verification.
7. Any candidate who remains absent on the day of counselling and document
verification shall forfeit his/her right to selection without any further notice.
8. Whereas the final selection list shall be issued only out of the shortlisted candidates
on the basis of merit, relevance and genuineness of the prescribed qualifications and
other relevant documents, after the documents verification.
Now, therefore, the schedule of Counselling and Documents Verification is hereby
notified/published for information of shortlisted candidates as Annexure “A” to this
